We are back with another of our Exmoor Forest Ride Days. This one is on Sunday 21st April 2024

You must be a paid-up member of the TRF and confirm your membership number when signing in

The parking will be at Raleghs Cross Inn at Brendon Hill, Exmoor TA23 0LN

From here you need to unload your road-legal bike and ride the 3 miles to the forest destination on local roads and tracks.

The route to the ride venue will be marked from the parking site at Raleghs Cross

Remember to bring some cash with you for the excellent food and drink served all-day

For this event you MUST have a TRIALS REAR TYRE, these are block pattern tyres such as Pirelli MT43 or Maxxis Trailsmax.

Enduro tyres, even if road legal are not accepted, there will be no exceptions. Juniors with small wheels can run anything. This is the agreement we have with the landowner. Scrutineering will be in place (tyres, brakes, exhaust, etc)

Under 16's ride free with a TRF riding guardian and we can arrange parking for you at the location by prior agreement. Call Anff on 07835008171 PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE; THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR UNDER 16 CHILD AT ALL TIMES AND WILL BE SUPERVISING THEM THROUGHOUT THE DAY. Orange numbered bibs will be issued in pairs for parents and their children if they are riding. Under 16's are not permitted to ride without their parent riding with them.

The format of the day is a one-directional main loop that will be approximately 4 miles long and chosen to be rideable by all abilities and ages.

Off this main loop are several sub-loops that will vary in technical difficulty and be marked as Moderate, Severe or Extreme, these sub-loops take you back onto the main loop.

Adv Bikes are welcomed. We are offering some led rides of the main loop and other appropriate areas. This will be for all abilities. If you are an experienced and competent Adv Bike rider you can ride the course individually. Please consider if you can self-recover when riding the larger bikes.

Riding is permitted at the venue from 9.30 am (Please do not arrive earlier than 0900 at the ride venue)

The event ends at 3.30 pm (main loop and sub-loops to be cleared)

In our large pits/rest area there will be food, an ambulance and toilets.

We have access to this fantastic private forest as a privilege and we must respect our use of it. Please be considerate and don’t leave any litter anywhere.

Please note:

  • This is a non-competitive event. This is not a racing or high-speed event
  • Riding out of the marked areas/section/main loop is not permitted and could affect our relationship with the landowner and our safety management
  • Any riders found to be riding/acting inappropriately will be required to leave the site/event
