Jamie Toomey, featuring Con Tempo Quartet

Galway-based guitarist and composer Jamie Toomey writes music that drifts between gypsy jazz, Latin and classical, built around sweeping, cinematic melody.

This performance draws from two of his EP’s, Inside, and Flight, both recorded in collaboration with Con Tempo, and is the first live concert performance of music that sits within a cinematic orchestral style, influenced by composers such as EnnioMorricone and John Williams, and focuses on strong melody and atmosphere.
