An Evening of Compassion, Community, and Life-Saving Impact

Sonar Bangla Foundation (SBF) cordially invites you to its 2nd Fundraising Event, benefiting underprivileged kidney patients across Bangladesh.

Founded in 2009, SBF is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Today, SBF is Bangladesh’s largest kidney dialysis provider, operating 26 centers that offer affordable and subsidized treatment to patients who might otherwise be unable to receive life-saving care.

What SBF Does

✅ Dialysis Centers: Operates 26 centers across Bangladesh, providing affordable and subsidized dialysis services.

✅ Nursing Institute: Offers high-quality nursing education with subsidized tuition to build a skilled healthcare workforce.

✅ Kidney Disease Screening and Prevention Program: The only initiative in Bangladesh focused on early detection and prevention of kidney disease in rural communities.

✅ Biomedical Research and Development Center: The first organization in Bangladesh to assemble dialysis machines at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park using in-house expertise.

✅ Upcoming Initiative: Establishing a Kidney Transplant Center to expand access to advanced kidney care. 

A Legacy of Impact from Houston

SBF held its first Houston fundraising event in 2015.
