You Are Loved - Music for Change
Breaking the cycle of stigma & loneliness through the power of music and community.
Big Gay Out and Song in the City present ‘Music for Change’ - a charity concert for You Are Loved, in their mission to reduce deaths from suicide and drugs in the LGBTQ+ community.
This event blends the power of classical, pop and musical theatre performance with heartfelt purpose, raising urgent funds while amplifying a life-saving message.
Performers roll call: Members of London Gay Men’s Chorus, Members of London Gay Symphony Orchestra, Homoparody, Andy Gardiner (dancer, actor, Mr Gay Great Britain 2024), Jonny Benjamin (mental health campaigner, author, filmmaker), Andrew Watts (countertenor), Gavin Roberts (piano), Kang Yang (baritone, Guzheng), Eliran Kadussi (countertenor), Isobel Hughes (mezzo soprano), Jairus McClanahan (vocalist), Natasha Elliott (mezzo soprano), Owain Gwynfryn (baritone), Thomas Litchev (baritone), Daniel Gray Bell (tenor), Jasper Kindleysides (soprano), Stanley Iyanu (poet).
The Vision: Where Music Meets Mental Health Timed to coincide with World Mental Health Day 10 October 2025, the concert will gather outstanding performers for an emotionally resonant, uplifting evening. This is more than just a concert — it’s a call for hope, connection, and community in a time when isolation is costing too many lives.
The Cause: You Are Loved is a grassroots Community Interest Company dedicated to preventing suicide and drug-related deaths in the LGBTQ+ community. Through bereavement support groups, community discussion events, and a new national LGBTQ+ community and support directory that launched in June, the organisation tackles loneliness, stigma, and shame at their roots.
All proceeds from the concert will go directly to fund this vital work.
