Do you sing in a choir and always shy away from taking on solos? Would you love to get up and sing karaoke? Have you always wanted to sing solo in front of other people but always chicken out? Well, look no further and come and join this workshop on Saturday 19th August which will help you feel more confident when singing on your own. 

(I can not guarantee you will feel brave enough to sing in front of people after one session but hopefully I will help you reset those mind monkeys and bring you a step closer to your goal. There will be opportunities to sing in front of the group during the workshop but this is not compulsory and you will not be pressured into doing this!)

Timetable for the day:

9.30-10am - Arrive and grab a cuppa.

10-10.20am - Vocal group warm up

10.20-10.45am - Discuss what we will learn and what you need.

10.45-11am - Breathing exercises

11-11.30am - Work on a song (tbd) as a group.

11.30-11.50 - Tea break

11.50-12.15pm - Work through song. Look specifically at text and emotion.

12.15-1.15pm - Work through some exercises to help with grounding and connection.

1.15-2pm - The floor is yours! Sing the song we worked through on your own or bring your own song and try out what you have learnt.

2pm Goodbye and see you at the next one!
