The aggressive development and shift to AI hits close to home for Filipinos with the US initiative, Pax Silica. Join us for an educational and creative afternoon as we learn how the Philippines is at the centre of Trump's weaponisation of AI to fuel its future wars.
Gabriela and Anakbayan Aotearoa invites our kababayans and all peace-loving people of Pōneke to take part in a reflexive and collaborative zine-making, T-shirt and tote bag printing workshop centred on creating counter narratives around AI, data centres and Pax Silica. We will conclude the event with a cultural performance and everyone is welcome to sing with us. We kindly ask the participants to please bring your own white or light-toned shirts and canvas bags.
