A special participatory singing event in Bath Abbey led by Jane Harris, Director of Songways

Join us to sing, harmonise, promenade and let our voices soar in the glorious open space of Bath Abbey. Explore the resonance of this ancient and sacred building with your singing voice. Enjoy beautiful songs and harmonies taught by ear. Sing freely and improvise, held in the group sound and the exceptional acoustics.

JANE HARRIS
Jane Harris is an experienced choir leader and Director of Songways, based in Bath. Jane teaches by ear and loves to explore songs in different ways to enrich and deepen the singing experience. She has a clear, inclusive and enabling teaching style, uncovers the best in singers’ voices and draws people together with heartfelt, resonant singing. Jane has a rich, vibrant voice and has released an album of her own songs, inspired by the natural world – One touch of nature. Jane also performs with her own vocal group, Rolling Harmony.

PLEASE NOTE

• We will mostly stand to sing. Some seating will be available.
• Please bring your own bottle of water.
• Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms or a recent positive test or if you feel unwell.
• Tickets are non-refundable*. If you are unable to attend you are welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else.
• *If the event cannot take place due to Covid or other circumstances, it will be postponed and your ticket will be valid for the future date. In that situation, if you are unable to make the future date you will be offered a refund.

A donation will be made from the proceeds to FareShare South West, the region’s largest food redistribution charity. They take good quality surplus food from the food industry and deliver it to more than 400 charities across the South West. Last year they provided enough food for 5 million meals.
