A special participatory singing event in Bath Abbey led by Jane Harris
"A truly memorable experience… a privilege to take part"
Join us to sing, harmonise, promenade and let our voices soar in the glorious open space of Bath Abbey. Explore the resonance of this ancient and sacred building with your singing voice. Enjoy beautiful songs and harmonies taught by ear, with a special focus on our precious earth. Sing freely and improvise, held in the group sound and the exceptional acoustics.
Luke Jerram’s touring Gaia artwork will be suspended underneath the tower in the centre of the Abbey, providing an awe-inspiring view as you enter the building. Gaia measures seven metres in diameter, features detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface and provides the opportunity to see our planet floating in three-dimensions.
Saturday 30 September
7:30 – 9:30pm
Doors open 7pm
