RUMBLE 3 by SONIC BOOM

RUMBLE is a new series of live music events by Sonic Boom Music CIC, curated by local musicians to take the spirit of Sonic Boom Festival and spread it throughout the year.

Sonic Boom Music CIC wants to help make Burton-upon-Trent a Music Town; celebrating the incredible local and regional talent that exists here and putting new, original music back on the radar for music lovers across the town.
This show brings together three powerful alternative rock bands making waves across Derby and the wider Midlands.

This event is set to take place at Burton Library, right in the Heart of Burton on Trent. Please be aware that there will be no bar or catering at this event. However, you are welcome to BRING YOUR OWN DRINK, both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages can be brought to the event to consume responsibly.

Under 18s

Under 18s are welcome at RUMBLE 3 when accompanied by a responsible adult. Tickets are priced per person regardless of age.

We’d suggest this event may not be the right fit for under 14s, but that’s a decision for parents and guardians. Responsible adults are expected to supervise their child throughout the event.

Made You Look / Made You Stare

Made You Look / Made You Stare is a Burton-Upon-Trent band that happened by accident and stuck around on purpose. What started as friends jamming in a rehearsal studio evolved into a tight four-piece with a knack for writing clever, hook-laden songs grounded in real lyrical meat. Their releases, from "Let's Make Them" and "Childhood Locked" to "Facade" and "Occupied," showcase a band that refuses to be pinned down, balancing catchy melodies with playful instrumental twists. Expect fun, energy, and the kind of tunes that get stuck in your head for the right reasons.

Dirt Bloom

Dirt Bloom blends the raw energy of grunge and alt-rock with the infectious hooks of pop punk, crafting a sound that feels both nostalgic and modern, full of gritty riffs, heartfelt lyrics, and a rebellious spirit. Their music explores themes of change, self-discovery, and the complexities of life, all while maintaining an undeniable sense of urgency and energy.

Flamehead

In the late 1980s early 90s, Burton was full of amazing bands and awesome music. One legendary night brought together two rival bands vying to be top dogs. Flamehead and The JFKs co-headlined a sell-out gig at the Brewhouse. 30 years later they came back! Mark and Steve have joined forces under the Flamehead banner and created a huge new noise with nods to those old Shoegaze Daze! Flamehead are now a long-established indie, alt rock, post-punk shoegaze band and have recently added Joanna Doran, previously of "The Telescopes" on vocals and guitar. They are currently writing new music for a forthcoming album!
