Please join Sonora Collective on November 21st, 2024 to kick off the holiday season!

Join us for an immersive evening of art and music at Voltz Clarke Gallery, set amidst Madrid-based artist Maru Quiñonero's Aurora. Enjoy the warmth of Mozart’s C Major Flute Quartet, a movement from Bach’s Cello Suite, and Max Reger's Serenade for Flute, Violin, and Viola, Op. 141a, alongside a new interpretation of Mendelssohn’s Six Christmas Pieces arranged for flute, viola, violin, and cello. Contemporary works by Carlos Simon and Cherise Leiter will bring a modern edge to the program, which beautifully complements the exhibition.

Performers: Katie Althen-Velázquez (flute), Julia Danitz (violin), Torron Pfeffer (viola), and Clare Monfredo (cello).

Doors open at 7:30 PM for a reception and a chance to take a closer look at the beautiful artwork. The concert will begin at 8:00 PM and last approximately one hour.
