Do I Need This? is a documentary film about excess, and the stuff from which happiness is truly made by Emmy-winning US filmmaker, Kate Schermerhorn.
On the surface, Do I Need This? is a joy ride through our excessive consumption habits, but at its core, it is a deep and genuine reflection on happiness, materialism and mortality. Audiences are invited to ponder their own threshold for excess, and their own formula for a life well-lived.

Certified Professional Organizer, Katherine Blackler of SortMySpace Ltd has teamed up with Kate to bring this movie to the UK for its premiere virtual screening.
You're invited to join us for a virtual screening of the film starting at 7pm (BST) on Wednesday 14 June 2023, followed by live Q&A with Kate Schermerhorn via Zoom.
