Our SOT Foundation Course covers all you need to know for the basis of SOT. This foundation course is 3 sessions (Categories, C.M.RT & Cranial) over 3 weekends, covering all the ground level work of Major DeJarnette. This will give any chiropractor or chiropractic student an excellent foundation of how to apply and use SOT successfully.

Course Information

Categories- The Basis of S.O.T. - 14 SOT Hours

Saturday - 8.30 am - 5.30pm, Sunday 8.30 am - 4.00pm

• In this hands-on seminar you will learn the anatomy and physiology of the three SOT category systems. You will also learn the comprehensive evaluation and assessment procedures for treating sacroiliac joints. Learn the effects of SI joint dysfunction on the dura, CSF and hence proper neural function and how to correct this dysfunction and restore CSF flow.
  
• Utilising blocks developed by Dr DeJarnette you will learn how to correct structural distortions affecting our ability to deal effectively with gravity and hence affect suluxation patterns throughout the spine.

Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technique (C.M.R.T) - 12 SOT Hours

Saturday - 8.30 am - 5.30pm, Sunday 8.30 am - 2.00pm

• This highly effective and reliable system of analysis and treatment addresses Autonomic nervous system dysfunction, aberrant viscero-somatic and somato-visceral reflexes, CSF imbalances, compromising the function of the nervous system. These practical tools and techniques allows the Chiropractor to address organ/gland imbalances affecting the central integrated state of the spine, joints and muscles

Cranials - 10 SOT Hours

Saturday - 8.30 am - 4.30pm, Sunday 9.00 am - 2.00pm

• Continue your journey of discovery into the realms of craniotherapy. Explore the functional relationships of the cranial membranes, their influence on the CSF flow and CNS function and learn connections to affect these areas. Techniques here include excellent cranial non-specifics, providing an essential foundation for the sutural and intraoral modules.

• FAQ??
• Can I attend a single session - Yes,if you have met the pre requisites below.
  • Have you previously completed SOT Categories session?
    
    • Yes – You may register for an individual session - Categories, CMRT or Cranial.
      
    • No – Please register for the full Foundation Series.
• Can I attend in different locations? Yes. You can choose different locations for Categories, C.M.R.T and Cranial within the same year, provided you complete Categories first, as it is the prerequisite for C.M.R.T and Cranial. Contact the office for details.
• Can I attend in different years? The SOT Foundation Series should be completed within the same year where possible. If you are unable to attend one of your selected sessions, you may request to defer that session to the next year’s Foundation Series. Deferrals are subject to approval and deferral fee of $200 apply per session.Please note, locations may change each year and the deferred session may not be available in your original state of registration. Contact the office for details on how to register.
• What happens if my circumstances change after I register -  Session deferrals and location changes may be requested after registration, provided the request is received, in writing via email a min of 12 days prior to the session date. All changes are subject to availability and SOTO Australasia’s Terms & Conditions. 

• Registration for all sessions is 8.15 am on Saturdays.
