Battle of the Midlands!

Welcome to Battle of The Midlands!

A fun night for all, whether you are staying in the audience or performing, it will be night of music, laughter and friendship not to be missed!!

Teams of 2–5 people take to the stage and perform one song, maximum 5 minutes.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re an amazing singer, a complete shower singer or somewhere in between — the aim is to entertain!
The emphasis is on performance, creativity, costumes and fun, rather than simply having the best voice.
And importantly: you don’t have to be a Big Sing member to enter!

THE BATTLE RULES

1. Teams must consist of 2, 3, 4 or 5 performers.
2. You do not need to be a Big Sing member to enter.
3. Each act performs one song.
4. Performances must be no longer than 5 minutes.
5. Songs can be performed in any style you wish.
6. Costumes, props and choreography are encouraged.
7. Performances must be suitable for a mixed audience.
8. Backing tracks/karaoke tracks are permitted.
9. Your backing track must be supplied to the organisers before the event. Louise will be in touch regarding this.
10. Please arrive by 7.30pm.
