The Winter Solstice invites us towards the stillness of the longest night. A sacred pause to rest, listen inwardly and prepare to welcome the returning light.

In the darkness of winter, seeds lie beneath the earth, holding within them the possibility of everything they may become.

Perhaps we are not so different.

There are dreams within us that are not yet ready to be seen. Ideas waiting for nourishment. Changes we can feel before we can name them. Parts of ourselves asking for enough space and stillness to be heard.

Held on the sacred ancestral lands of Aberlemno, The Seeds of Light is an invitation to gather together close to the Winter Solstice and create space for what wants to emerge.

Not another list of resolutions.

Something deeper.

A chance to listen, create, connect and place our intentions into the earth before allowing fire, movement and joy to awaken them.

✨ THE JOURNEY

We will begin by slowing everything down.

Through meditation and gentle breathwork, we will move away from the noise of everyday life and towards the quieter voice within.

There will be space to reflect on what this year has taught you and what you want to carry forward.

Through intention, creativity and ceremony, you will create your own medicine pouch, a physical vessel holding the seeds of what you are choosing to nurture.

There will also be a little surprise ritual woven into the evening.

As darkness settles around us, we will gather in candlelight, honouring the longest nights and the light already beginning its journey back.

And then we turn towards the fire.

🔥 FROM STILLNESS INTO FIRE

The Winter Solstice is not only about darkness.

It is the moment from which the light begins to return.

So we will move too.

Through fire ritual, music, connection and movement, we will allow the energy to rise.

From stillness into expression.

From intention into embodiment.

From ceremony into joy and ecstasy.

Because manifestation is not only about asking for something.

It is about becoming available for it.

This is an invitation to plant with intention and then bring energy, movement and life to those seeds.

To call forward the life you deserve and the world that needs what only you can bring.

Together we will plant something in the darkness and trust that, in its own time, it knows how to find the light.

ABOUT US

Neil and Eileen first met at Lendrick Lodge, sharing ceremony and initiation and sowing seeds many years ago for the sacred spaces we now hold together.

Our paths have continued through shamanic practice, ceremony, fire, energy work and our own lived experiences of transformation.

What we share is not about telling another person who they should become.

It is about creating spaces where we can slow down, listen deeply, reconnect with ourselves, one another and the Earth, and remember the wisdom that already lives within us.

MEET NEIL

For Neil, this work is something lived rather than simply studied.

His path has taken him through his own experiences of change and recovery, into firewalking, breathwork, shamanic practice and ceremony.

He trained with the Sundoor School of Firewalking, becoming a Firewalk Instructor and later a Sundoor Master, continuing his journey into Sakahan.

At the heart of his work is a simple belief: transformation does not always have to come through struggle.

There can be wisdom in the darkness and enormous medicine in joy, connection, courage and fire.

MEET EILEEN

Eileen is deeply connected to the Earth, to the whispers of the trees, the movement of the seasons, the soil beneath our feet and the stars above.

An Energy and Transformation Coach, Reiki Master, Shamanic Healer and Yoga Teacher, she has dedicated more than 30 years to energy and natural healing.

She creates spaces where people can slow down, listen deeply and remember their own strength.

Her work invites us into a deeper relationship with ourselves, with one another and with the Earth, creating the conditions for meaningful and lasting change.

The seed does not need to know exactly how it will become the flower.

It needs darkness.

It needs nourishment.

And eventually, it needs light.

On 19 December, we gather in that space between darkness and light.

To listen.
