SOUL CINEMA night is back!

We are thrilled to present Boarding On insanity a film about boarding school and the trauma associated with this way of schooling, how this effects our "leaders" and the whole of society.

From the film Maker:

In the Myth of Normal, Dr Gabor Maté writes: 'When trauma manifests on the political stage, the consequences for people and the planet are massive. Politicians make policy, after all, and policy creates or cements the very cultural conditions we know are antithetical to our health.'

The documentary, Boarding On Insanity, which features Dr Gabor Maté, asks the question: Are our leaders traumatised? And if so what is the impact on society?

The film explores how so many global leaders went to boarding school. From Boris Johnson to Mark Zuckerberg, and from Donald Trump to Rupert Murdoch. As Professor Joy Schaverien writes: 'Boarding school syndrome is a symptom of serious psychological distress.'
The documentary is part of a global movement to bring awareness of the impact of boarding schools on society.
The film showing will include a Q&A with the director, Ben Cole and the producer, Piers Cross.
