Need help?
What if, instead of doing more this festive season, you gave yourself permission to truly rest?
Join us in Bellahouston for a deeply immersive mini retreat as we approach the Winter Solstice — a beautiful opportunity to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself during the busy Festive Season.
Step away from the rush and give yourself the gift of time, space, and nurturing self-care. Through gentle movement, breathwork, healing sound, and voice, you’ll be invited to soften, release, and settle into a deeply embodied sense of relaxation.
You’ll leave feeling replenished, soothed, nurtured, and restored.
Your Afternoon
Your experience will begin with a warm welcome and introduction from Morag, Sound Healing Practitioner, and Vivienne, Seasonal Yoga and Voice Coach. There will be an opportunity to introduce yourself, if you wish, and set an intention for your afternoon.
We’ll then move into gentle breathwork and yin yoga. No previous experience is necessary. These soothing practices will help you slow down, turn inward, and prepare your body and mind for the deeply restorative experience ahead.
Next, Vivienne will guide you through a beautiful chakra toning and colour visualisation session, inviting warmth, balance, and a cosy sense of wellbeing.
We’ll then take a short break to enjoy a hot drink, gently ground, and prepare for the sound bath.
The Sound Bath
Never experienced a sound bath before? This is a wonderful opportunity to discover the profound relaxation that sound and vibration can offer.
Simply sit or lie down, depending on your comfort and physical abilities, and allow yourself to be held by the beautiful sounds of Tibetan and crystal singing bowls , gongs, koshi chimes, percussion and other carefully selected instruments.
As the sounds and vibrations wash over you, you’ll be gently guided towards a meditative state, creating space for your body and mind to truly let go.
With nothing to achieve and nowhere else to be, this is your time to pause, rest, receive, and reconnect with your own natural capacity for relaxation and renewal.
A Gift to Yourself
Come and take some precious time for yourself.
Pause the doing. Embrace the being. Give yourself permission to rest, receive, and be nurtured.
What to Bring
Please bring your own mat, pillows, cushions, bolsters, and cosy socks — whatever helps you feel comfortable and supported.
If you are unable to lie comfortably on the floor, please let us know in advance and we can provide a chair. We also have a limited number of spare mats available, so please let us know if you need one.
Important Information
You will receive a booking confirmation from Ticket Tailor, followed by a further email from us shortly before the event with any final details.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. It is important that you let us know in advance about any health conditions or medical devices, including metal implants, pacemakers, stents, or other implants, so that Morag can adapt the sound experience to suit your needs wherever possible.
The sound bath is not suitable for anyone with sound-induced epilepsy, those in their first trimester of pregnancy, or anyone experiencing unmanaged bipolar disorder or psychosis.
A sound journey should not be undertaken under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. You will be asked to complete a consent form on arrival.
