Inclusive Practice in Action 2022: Follow up session

Thu 19 May 2022 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM BST

Online, Zoom

Description

Course Leaders: Brenda Rattray and Shahana Knight

This online follow up session will be a chance to touch base, talk, or simply check in, for delegates that have attended our Inclusive Practice In Action 2022 conference, Dancing with the Process of Life: Exploring Mental Health and Wellbeing on Thursday 7 April 2022.

During the session:

Participants will have the opportunity to share something (an experience, a thought, anything they wish…) relating to how IPIA 2022 has affected / impacted on them. Delegates who feel confident to do so, are welcome to share their thoughts directly, during this online session.

If you would prefer to share your experience anonymously:

We welcome you to send an email directly to Brenda Rattray at reallynicepeople@icloud.com. Simply include what you would like to share, plus a sentence stating that you prefer to remain anonymous. These anonymous contributions will then be shared with the group by Brenda and Shahana, during the session.

Some questions you may wish to contemplate…

  • What’s your story?
  • What was your experience of Sound Connections Inclusive Practice In Action (IPIA) on mental health and wellbeing?
  • What were you expecting from the event? What happened?
  • Were there any memorable moments for you? What were they?
  • What would you share with work colleagues, friends and family about the day? Are there any particular moments that stand out in your mind?
  • What was your take away? What will you always remember?
  • How was your mental health and wellbeing affected by your ability to attend face to face and be in a ’safe’ ‘held’ space with others?
  • What’s next for you?
  • What can Sound Connections do to assist you further with your mental health and wellbeing journey?
