Join us for a deeply moving and powerful evening of music, unity, and hope as Wales’ most celebrated voices come together in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Sumud is an Arabic word used to describe the persistent steadfastness of the Palestinian people, and in the historic and atmospheric setting of Llandaff Cathedral on March 15th, this special night will be an expression of sumud, of resilience, love, and unwavering support for the people of Palestine through the power of song.

Featuring a gorgeous line-up of artists, including Charlotte Church, Gwenno, Gruff Rhys, Côr Cochion and the Songs of Freedom Choir and many more, the evening will showcase a fusion of Welsh choral tradition, contemporary music, and voices of activism. Through song, we will weave together the stories of struggle, survival, and the enduring spirit of both the Welsh and Palestinian peoples.

From hauntingly beautiful choral arrangements to stirring folk and contemporary performances, each artist will bring their voice to a shared call for justice and peace. This night is more than a concert—it is a moment of reflection, a stand in solidarity, and a reminder that music has the power to heal, inspire, and unite.

All proceeds will go towards humanitarian aid for Palestine, ensuring that our voices are not only heard in song but felt in action. Organisations being supported are The Sumud School in Deir al-Balah, a tent school serving some 500 families and being supported by West Wales Friends of Palestine, MECA, and the Delia Arts Foundation in Palestine. The event has been organised entirely by volunteers and all profits will go to the organisations above.

Come, stand with us. Sing with us. Hope with us.

Ymunwch â ni am noson hynod deimladwy a phwerus o gerddoriaeth, undod, a gobaith wrth i leisiau enwocaf Cymru ddod ynghyd mewn undod â phobl Palestina. Gair Arabeg yw Sumud a ddefnyddir i ddisgrifio dyfalbarhad parhaus pobl Palestina, ac yn lleoliad hanesyddol ac atmosfferig Eglwys Gadeiriol Llandaf ar Fawrth 15fed, bydd y noson arbennig hon yn fynegiant o sumud, o wytnwch, cariad, a chefnogaeth ddiwyro i bobl Palestina trwy rym y gân.

Yn cynnwys amrywiaeth hyfryd o artistiaid, gan gynnwys Gruff RhysCharlotte Church, GwennoDionne Bennett, Côr Cochion a’r Côr Synau Rhyddid a llawer mwy, bydd y noson yn arddangos cyfuniad o draddodiad corawl Cymreig, cerddoriaeth gyfoes, a lleisiau actifiaeth. Trwy gân, byddwn yn plethu ynghyd straeon brwydro, goroesi, ac ysbryd parhaol y Cymry a’r Palesteiniaid.

O drefniadau corawl arswydus o hardd i berfformiadau gwerinol a chyfoes cyffrous, bydd pob artist yn dod â’u llais i alwad a rennir am gyfiawnder a heddwch. Mae’r noson hon yn fwy na chyngerdd—mae’n foment o fyfyrio, yn safiad mewn undod, ac yn ein hatgoffa bod gan gerddoriaeth y pŵer i wella, ysbrydoli ac uno.

Dewch, sefwch gyda ni. Canwch gyda ni. Gobeithio gyda ni.

Yr elusennau sy’n cael eu cefnogi yw Ysgol pabell Sumud yn Deir al-Balah, MECA, a Delia Arts Foundation. Mae’r digwyddiad wedi’i drefnu’n gyfan gwbl gan wirfoddolwyr a bydd yr holl elw yn mynd i’r cronefydd uchod.

Gwasanaeth bar trwy caredigrwydd The Bottle Shop Cardiff, gyda'r holl elw yn cael ei roi i achosion a restrir uchod.
