Spring Sangha Retreat at Rivendell

Our weekend Sangha retreats are an ideal opportunity to experience your first Buddhist retreat or to take your practice deeper. Rivendell is located in beautiful surroundings in the Sussex countryside. These retreats are open to everyone who has been attending the Southampton Buddhist Centre for three months or more and is familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and Metta Bhavana meditation practices. During the weekend we’ll live together communally, practising meditation and puja, hearing and discussing Dharma, preparing and sharing meals and enjoying time to relax and deepen connections with each other. It is most definitely time to put away our phones and other devices so please be prepared to do that, an emergency contact number will be provided. 

Accommodation is in single sex shared rooms. We are very keen to encourage car sharing to and from the retreat, this is something that our retreat organisers will be in contact about nearer the time.
