Planning for Public Benefit through Community Partnerships
Thu 14 Nov 2024 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Peckover House, PE13 1JR
Description
Our 2024 autumn study day is kindly being hosted by the team at the National Trust’s Peckover House in Wisbech.
The focus of the day will be on how cultural organisations within a town can offer the most public benefit by thinking differently and working collaboratively.
We will hear about the Unlocking Peckover project, which has been undertaken to rethink how the site can provide for the community through their unique spaces and assets, through building partnerships within the town centre, collaboration with groups, and meaningful engagement and cocreation.
In the afternoon we will have a walk around the town and hear more about the wider connections to the town and partnership work already underway, and also hear from the Suffolk Archives on their partnership working with Orchestras Live and schools.
This will be a great opportunity to network with colleagues across disciplines and share knowledge and learnings form across the region.
Tea and coffee will be provided, but please bring your own lunch or enjoy some of the many café offerings in Wisbech.
Agenda may change slightly on the day.
Tickets for existing SEMFed members are £10. New members are always welcome and can take out membership by booking the 'SEMFed membership + ticket' option.
