Rhythms and Raagas 
A cultural festival with South Asian eats and beats!

We are excited to host a brand new event, a musical extravaganza at a much bigger scale this year to celebrate Diwali and more...festivals all across the South Asian subcontinent that will bring together multi-cultural and multi-generational communities.

'Rhythms and Raagas' is a musical theatre throwing a spotlight on key traditions and rituals surrounding festivals originating from South Asia, that are celebrated by many immigrant communities across the globe, creating and leaving behind a rich fabric of sub-cultures for future generations to observe.

WHEN: October 28th, 5:30pm to 9:30pm

Dinner included..
The event ends with delicious Indian food and dancing! Come dressed in your finest and bring your dancing moves...our resident DJ Mahesh is sure to make this a memorable and fun evening for the whole family. 
A separate  area for kids of different ages to enjoy engaging activities!
We have counselors and volunteers to help out the children along with SACH team members, so you can relax and enjoy the main event without worrying about your kids :-)
 
Our guest speaker is Archana Mundhe 
Food author, blogger, cook, former software engineer and a mother of two boys who share her love for food and cooking. 

We're honored and excited to have Archana come all the way from New Jersey to spend this special evening with us! 

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: 

5:30 pm - Registration at front desk begins. Socialize over appetizers and drinks. 
6:15 pm - Children's dinner and activities begin at children's area 
6:15 pm - Welcome address by Ruta Upalekar (President of SACH) 
6:25 pm - Fireside chat with out special guest Archana Mundhe
6:35 pm - Musical theatre show begins taking you through a kaleidoscope of a rich cultural tapestry celebrating 8 festivals   
7:45 pm - Dinner is served 
8:30 pm onwards - Dance floor opens (Music by DJ Mahesh)
