Nutcracker Children's Auditions | Sumter • SC

South Carolina Ballet invites young dancers to audition for children’s roles in our professional production of Nutcracker, performing in Sumter at Patriot Hall on November 21 at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

This is a special opportunity for young dancers to take the stage with South Carolina Ballet’s professional company in a full-scale holiday production beloved by audiences across South Carolina.

1:00 PM–2:00 PM | Ages 4 and 5
2:00 PM–3:00 PM | Ages 6 and 7
3:00 PM–4:30 PM | Ages 8, 9, and 10

Audition Fee
Pre-Registration: $20
Day-Of Registration: $25, cash or check only, paid at the studio

Checks should be made out to South Carolina Ballet.

Rehearsals & Performances
All rehearsals are mandatory. Missing a rehearsal for any reason may result in removal from the production. Please confirm your child’s availability for all dates before auditioning.

Dress Code
Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, hair in a slick bun, light makeup including lip and cheek color and light eyeshadow.

Boys: White leotard or plain white t-shirt, black tights and black shoes, or black tights with white socks and white shoes.
