The Butler in Reading is a popular, independent traditional pub and grassroots music venue located at 85-91 Chatham Street.

• Location: Situated just a couple of minutes outside the town centre, tucked behind Oxford Road and near theFace Bar. It occupies an 1830s building named after Butler's Wine Merchants, which historically operated on the site.
