For the family fun day events, weather permitting, some activities may take place outside of the main Planetarium building, either on the hard standing car park areas or on the adjacent school playing field. The ground may be uneven in places, so please take great care. The Planetarium building is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

Activities

A wide range of space-themed activities will be on offer, suitable for both children and their accompanying adults. There will also be special short shows, films and presentations, some in the main auditorium and some elsewhere, taking place at regular intervals throughout each 2½-hour session, and included in the main admission price. Places for these presentations will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis but they will be repeated at regular intervals throughout each session.

Prices and Admission

• Admission Prices (per morning or afternoon session): £7.00 for adults, or £5.00 for children under 16 (see Suitability section below).
• Suitability Suitable for children under 5 years of age.
• Early booking advised. As available spaces for each 2½-hour session are limited, potential visitors are strongly advised to book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
• This event is suitable for children aged 5 and upwards, but please note that no unaccompanied minors can be admitted.Close supervision of minors is required at all times

Admission Prices:
