Next stop on our Grand Tour wine series: Spain.

Join us for an evening of Spanish wine, good company and stories from the Vuelta a España — one of cycling’s great Grand Tours. Cat from The Naked Grape in Alresford will take us on a journey through some of Spain’s brilliant wine regions, tasting five different wines along the way and sharing the stories behind the bottles, the places they come from and the race itself.

We’ll have a selection of cheese, olives, almonds and bread to enjoy alongside the wines — simple pairings designed to compliment the tasting.

We’ll finish with something a little special: a gorgeous Spanish Sherry to round off the evening.

If you’ve joined us for one of Cat’s previous tastings, you’ll know they’re relaxed, informative and full of interesting stories. If you haven’t, this is a great excuse to come along, try some Spanish wines you might not normally choose and enjoy an evening around our usual long, sociable tables.

You don’t need to be a cycling expert or know your Rioja from your Rueda. Just come along and bring your curiosity!
