Echinoderm Workshop

Meet us at the Apollo Bay Senior Citizens Centre at 9am where guest speaker, Kate Naughton, will give a presentation on Echinoderms. We’ll then have some morning tea before re-grouping at the Marengo car park and walking down to the rockpools.

Afterwards, if the conditions are suitable, anyone who’s keen can join us for a snorkel around the reefs. You’ll need to bring your own snorkelling gear but we will have some to lend out in case anyone forgets. Before getting in the water, we’ll have a quick chat about safety and will also have a kayak with us, in case anyone needs a hand.

There’ll be facilities for people to make their own hot drinks and we’ll provide the food for the morning tea. But feel free to bring your own food if you want, and store it in the fridge during the presentation.
