Wednesday Evening Beginners Course

Starting in Archery - Beginners Courses

If you have little or no experience in archery, then you simply need to complete a beginners’ course which covers everything to get you started safely and to enable you to join a local club (hopefully ours).  Our coaches are all Archery GB licensed and the classes are a maximum of 8 participants.  The minimum age is 10 years old with no upper limit. (Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult)

Cost and Duration

Our courses are compact, just 3 consecutive weekly sessions, with the start date and time as indicated on the ticket and continuing for two further weekly sessions on the same day and times - you must be able to attend all sessions to complete the course.

Full course dates and times:  Wednesday Evenings 6pm to 9pm starting on the 14th January and continuing on the 21st and 28th January 2026.  You must be able to attend all three sessions to complete the course.

Each session lasts 3 hours, with a short break at half time and the full course cost is £65 per person - all equipment is provided suitable for your size and handedness.  Courses are run at our indoor range in Dewsbury where we can provide a great place to teach and practice archery without being interrupted by the British weather.

Please note that there are two flights of stairs up to our second floor range with no lift available at present.

Cancellation policy, cancellation must be made by email giving at least 14 days notice for a full refund.  Late cancellations will only be refunded if we can resell the place.
