Ben (Community Composter for South London Urban Growers) is now offering Compost Doctor workshops all over London. You can book a workshop at your site by selecting a time and date from the list below. Ben will then be in touch via email to offer a consultation and devise a composting workshop tailored to the needs of your group and project, as well as all info on the delivery fee for the workshop. 

Workshop fees will be variable depending on: 

  • what sort of workshop you want
  • how much practical construction support you want to build or modify your composting system 
  • how much help sourcing composting ingredients and construction materials you'd like
We will endeavour to make sure we can deliver a workshop that equips your group with skills, knowledge and a functional composting system that works for you - whatever your budget is!

Please give as much information as possible when answering the booking questionnaire, so we can provide the best support for you and bring the relevant materials and tools

Amongst the many wonders and benefits of community composting, you can expect to learn:

  • how and what to compost
  • the best composting techniques for your project (e.g. hot composting, hot beds, bokashi, wormeries, aerated static pile composting and in-vessel composting)
  • how to build, fix or modify your compost systems using cheap and freely available materials

  • how to create finished compost in 6 months, full of life and fertility to feed your soil and plants!

The dates on this listing are the only dates currently available to book a Compost Doctor visit, however there is some flexibility on the timings so please get in touch if you'd like a time that isn't listed. Depending on your location, we also may need to adjust timings to allow for travel time and to ensure all materials are on site before the workshop.
