Working from images that you bring with you, you will be taken through how to draw and etch a plate using BIG, apply aquatint to achieve tonal values, and then spend some time on the fun bit of inking & printing from your plate. You will have the opportunity to use both colour and traditional black inks and will be able to take home some excellent prints that you have created!
You will use some incredible tools and equipment to create a traditional etching using mostly nontoxic printmaking materials. You can do this method in your own studio or kitchen if you wanted to - it's very safe.
