Drypoint is supposedly the next best thing to etching, however it is a brilliant way of making an intaglio plate in it's own right and the results are fascinating. Fine line and details, strong tones created by crosshatching and inking up using both relief and intaglio surfaces can create excellent prints.
For this workshop you will be able to make two plates - one using styrene as a plate as well as one make from a Tetrapak! The final prints will be brilliant and will have both images and your plates to take home with you.
The cost for this workshop is inclusive of all materials and equipment which will provided for you.
