This one-day workshop will offer you the opportunity to explore how collage and mixed media can form a basis for creating expressive, personal
painting. Working from images of seascapes, landscapes or a place that you love, and possibly any song lyrics, poetry or a map that means something to you Jen will take you through the processes of how to build the stages of a painting.
In this relaxed & friendly atmosphere, you will be taught how to build collage layers, create mark making and painted papers, explore paint techniques, and improve their use of colour by exploring paint mixing. You will then be guided to create an atmospheric, expressive painting, loosely inspired by a place they love.
Materials will be provided for this workshop as part of the booking costs.
