Creative freestyle drawing and painting.
Enjoy the freedom of experimental drawing and mark making, breaking rules and barriers to the creative process, generating ideas and discovering new pathways to personal expression through freestyle drawing.
Each student will be encouraged to explore mark making techniques using unconventional drawing materials with curiosity and without inhibition, watching the unfolding of an individual narrative and finding new confidence of how to move forward as an artist.
This day's session will focus on drawing techniques in black and white and day two (Monday 21st August) will introduce paint and the expressive use of colour. Students are welcome to attend one or both of the days.
These workshops aim to move away from outcome led art processes, focussing instead on openness, intuition and the adventure of making art.
