On July 1, 2025, the Sheffield Water Centre is hosting Water in South Yorkshire, a collaborative event focused on the critical topic of water management in our region. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about current activities and explore avenues for greater integration across water supply, river quality, and flood risk management.

What to Expect
The day will feature insightful talks and expert panel discussions that will be highly informative. There will also be opportunities for networking and the interactive nature of the panels will provide the chance for you to engage with our speakers.
Aims of the Day
This event is designed to:
Facilitate learning by Sheffield Water Centre members and others about current water management practices in South Yorkshire.
Open opportunities for even greater integration of efforts across water supply, sewerage and flood management activities across public, private and voluntary sectors.
Provide a baseline for shared activities between academics and regional water stakeholders.
