Get the training you need to effectively manage your Chromebook fleet!

The Chromebook Academy is a LIVE virtual event for IT administrators that will help you manage and configure a fleet of 10 or 10,000 Chromebooks.

Registration Fee: $249 per person

Your registration includes 5 virtual sessions with John Sowash, access to a comprehensive resource website, and optional Q&A calls to discuss the specific needs of your school district. You may register by credit card (preferred) or school purchase order.

Earn your ChromeOS Administrator Certification

The Chromebook Academy has been carefully aligned with the ChromeOS Certification exam. After completing the Chromebook Academy you will be READY to become a Certified Chromebook administrator!

Please note that we can not guarantee your registration until a valid PO has been received from your school.

What you'll learn:

• SIMPLIFY device enrollment with zero-touch enrollment (NEW!)
• BEST PRACTICES for K-12 environments with specific tips for elementary, MS, and HS deployments.
• Establishing a Chromebook “PENALTY BOX” for off-task students
• 15 CRITICAL POLICIES you should review to protect students while browsing online.
• ESSENTIAL TOOLS that will improve your fleet management.
• Everything you need to know to PASS the ChromeOS Administrator EXAM and earn your official administrator certification.
  
• THREE REPORTS you should run on a monthly basis to monitor the health of your fleet

​Session Schedule: 

Each session will take place from 2-3:30pm EST through Google Meet.

• February 20 - Select, protect, and deploy Chromebook devices
• February 22 - Device configuration and security
  
• February 27 - Browser policies
• February 29 -  App & service configuration
• March 5 - Fleet Management and reporting

Note: while you are encouraged to attend the LIVE sessions, you will receive a recording for each session which you can watch on-demand. 

Office Hours: In addition to the sessions above, you will also have an opportunity to schedule an optional 1:1 call with John Sowash to discuss unique questions related to your Chromebook deployment. 

What to expect:

• Each live session is hosted using Google Meet 
• During the live sessions, John Sowash will share tips on how to manage Chromebooks using the Google Admin Console. 
• Attendance at the live sessions is encouraged, but not required. Sessions are recorded and available for on-demand viewing.
• Following each live session, you will receive a session summary with important links, written instructions, and detailed videos.
