The Gemini Academy for Teachers is a fun, hands-on workshop will help you master the use of Gemini and NotebookLM and become a Gemini Certified Educator! This one-day event will explore how teachers can use use Gemini and NotebookLM to save time and expand their creativity. During this event you'll receive personal coaching and instruction from Google Certified Trainer John Sowash and interact with like-minded educators from your area. This event is for new and experienced educators who are ready to explore the impact of AI in the classroom.

• Date: July 15, 2026, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Registration Fee: $249 per person (includes lunch and continuing education credit)

Your registration includes a full day of instruction and conversation with John Sowash and access to a comprehensive resource website. You may register by credit card (preferred) or school purchase order.

• Understand critical privacy policies for working with AI in a classroom setting.

• Improve your prompting skills to generate rubrics, quizzes, and custom lesson material.

• Use NotebookLM to transform your resources into rich learning material.

• Use Google Classroom to introduce your students to using AI as a learning resource.

• Develop your own AI teaching assistant to handle your most time-consuming administrative tasks. 

• Generate custom, copyright-free images and music snippets to increase student engagement.

• Develop a clear classroom policy and learn the truth about AI plagiarism detection.

• Use Gemini to "vibe code" functional classroom tools and learning games.

• Morning: 8:30 am - 11:30 am (Focus: Gemini App)
• Lunch: 11:30 am - 12:15 pm (Lunch and refreshments will be provided on-site)
• Afternoon: 12:15 pm - 3:30 pm (Focus: NotebookLM and advanced Gemini integrations)
