The Google Admin Bootcamp is designed for district IT directors and administrators who want a better understanding of the management tools and features of Google Workspace for Education. Explore effective management practices, review your security settings, and configure applications for learning. The Google Admin Bootcamp will help you take the next step in leading your school in its use of Google tools.

Registration Fee: $249 per person

Your registration includes 5 virtual sessions with John Sowash, access to a comprehensive resource website, and optional Q&A calls to discuss the specific needs of your school district. You may register by credit card (preferred) or school purchase order.

Please note that we can not guarantee your registration until a valid PO has been received from your school.

What you'll learn:

• Review the security of your data stored in Google Workspace apps
• Protect students from inappropriate content and dangerous behavior
• Ensure your technology policies support classroom instruction
• Learn how to manage teachers and administrators who leave the district
• Get the latest on how to comply with FOIA and FERPA regulations.
• Explore age-appropriate configurations for Drive, Classroom, Hangouts, and other core Google Workspace services

Each session will take place from 9:00-10:30am EST through Google Meet.

• June 5 - Google Workspace domain configuration
• June 7 - Google Workspace service configuration
  
• June 12 - Secondary service configuration
• June 14 -  Domain security & Google Vault
• June 19 - Reports & management tools

Note: while you are encouraged to attend the LIVE sessions, you will receive a recording for each session which you can watch on-demand. 

Office Hours: In addition to the sessions above, you will also have an opportunity to schedule an optional 1:1 call with John Sowash to discuss unique questions related to your Google Workspace configuration.

What to expect:

• Each live session is hosted using Google Meet 
• During the live sessions, John Sowash will share tips on how to manage Google Workspace for education using the Google Admin Console. 
• Attendance at the live sessions is encouraged, but not required. Sessions are recorded and available for on-demand viewing.
• Following each live session, you will receive a session summary with important links, written instructions, and detailed videos.
