Seven joyful workshops. Seven different ways to play. One wonderfully welcoming community.
At its heart, improv isn't about being the quickest person in the room. It's about listening, noticing, supporting each other and discovering stories you never could have planned.
That's exactly what The Improv Playground is all about.
Whether you're completely new to improv or you've been making things up for years, these workshops are designed to help you explore, experiment and, above all, have fun.
Each week has its own theme, so you can join us for a single workshop that catches your imagination, or come along for the whole seven-week adventure and discover just how fun there is to be had.
If you come every week, you'll notice something else too. Although each workshop stands happily on its own, together they gradually build your confidence, stretch your creativity and give you more freedom to play. So whether you're dipping in for one evening or joining us every Thursday, you'll find plenty to enjoy.
Whether you're:
• completely new to improv
• returning after a break
• someone who thinks, "I'm not quick/confident/funny enough"
• or an experienced improviser looking to stretch yourself and play...
...you'll be warmly welcomed.
No scripts.
No pressure.
No "right way" to do it.
Just humans making things up together.
