Space 2 Talk - Maidstone
Space 2 Talk is for parents/ carers of children with additional needs to get support and advice in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, no matter where you are on your SEN journey. We most frequently support with concerns around autism, ADHD, PDA and anxiety but we are not disability specific and all parents and carers are welcome.
People come along to Space 2 Talk for many reasons, such as:
- seeking advice about how to request support for your child
- recently received a diagnosis and would like some guidance on next steps
- to talk through some different behaviours you are seeing at home
- to get different ideas for strategies
- chat with other people who 'get it' and to off load
You can come regularly or come along as and when. Grandparents and other family members are welcome. No formal diagnosis is required!
Maidstone Community Support Centre, is centrally located and easy to access via public transport. There are several pay and display car parks near by, including King Street, Union Street and Wheeler Street.
Tea & coffee is provided - additional refreshments can be purchased from the onsite Sunflower Cafe.
