Spar Customs presents an Ameripolitan "On The Coast" Supporter Show w Dale Watson at Tio Leos

Spar Customs Productions is excited to bring back Dale Watson and a show we have discussed putting on for years in San Diego to support his Ameripolitan Music Award Charity.

This is an Ameripolitan "On The Coast" Fest featuring Dale and 7 other acts in the Ameripolitan genres of Outlaw, Western Swing, Rockabilly and Honky Tonk. The Awards show has been running for a decade in Texas and Tennessee featuring amazing talent from around the world helping to build their names and keep these important genres of REAL COUNTRY MUSIC alive and kickin.

This first event will feature a wide range of S Ca acts that Spar Customs works with and feels have a special something going to make a full day of music, dancing and great times at Tio Leos. The event doors will be at 2PM with the first act starting right at 230PM. We will use Tio Leos unique layout with the indoor and outdoor stages to keep the music going all day with only 5 to 10 min breaks between. Once an act finishes the crowd can mosey on outside or inside to keep being entertained until 10PM. 

* Dale Watson: No explanation needed for this Texas Troubadour Legend and his big range of musical styles in honky tonk, western, real country and more.. 

*West of Texas are Ameripolitan nominees and bring the Honky Tonk Roadhouse right at you with their originals and varied covers. 

*Bodhi Corbett is a Spar favorite with his rowdy Americana Rock n Roll sound from days gone by and this kid knows how to make a joint jump. 

* Lil Mo & the Lonesome Crows are a Hillbilly swing band with the old timey feel and sound to move the boots on the dance floor.

* Bad Banana is not to be missed if you love a fireball of a show with their Japanese Rockabilly style and exciting flair on stage. You will move those feet!

* June Clivas & the Ditty Boys add a variety of Western/Country Outlaw and Cow Punk to the show and always entertain.

* Twang Danglers Roadhouse Country have a smooth sound and know how to get a dance floor going throwing a range of styles and originals/hits into their sets.

* Ron Houston & the Berry pickers are gonna kick the day off on our outside stage with an outlaw billy sound that gets you in the right mood for a full day of Ameripolitan music. Start at 2:30PM sharp.

There will be FREE Dance Lessons going between each band and through the day to give you pointers and a perfect place to practice with so many others dancing nonstop. And no we Won't be doing any Line Dancing. 

Grab your tickets early, we can only get so many people in Tio Leos and with 8 acts its going to be a packed house all day. Come down early, each band has been picked for specific reasons and styles of music to give you an example of what Dale's Ameripolitan Awards Show is about. 

There will be info on the 2027 Awards Show coming back and Spar Customs will have all the Ameripolitan merchandise we make for it available for the first time in CA so bring your cash and help support a charity that supports and keeps real music alive and well.

This is the first show of a series outside of Texas to raise awareness for the Ameripolitan Show, get people to support the charity and attend the Awards Show next year. Very close to the Olde Town Train Station and an easy couple mile Uber. Plenty of hotels around the area as well so you can enjoy the day, be safe getting home and make it a San Diego getaway.
