A free creative session for young people aged 11-15 years, designed to celebrate reading, imagination, and hands‑on crafting.

Event Overview

Book and Bedazzle is a fun, relaxed youth event where participants can chat about books they love, discover new reads, and get creative with a range of book‑themed crafts. Donations are welcome, and all materials are provided.

• Book Chat - A friendly space to share favourite reads, swap recommendations, and hear about books you might not have tried yet.

• Book Bedazzling - Bring your favourite book and decorate it in your own unique style. Stickers, gems, colours - anything goes.

This session encourages creativity, confidence, and a love of reading - all in a supportive, youth‑friendly environment. It’s a great chance to meet others, try new crafts, and celebrate stories that matter to you.

Attendance & Parent Contact

We’re only able to accept children whose parent or carer contact details we have on record. Please register your child here before booking your space.. We can not accept your child on the session unless they are registered with Spark.

Drop‑off & Collection

Children can arrive independently or be dropped off, and they may leave on their own at the end of the session unless the adult who drops them off requests that they wait to be collected. If a child is being collected, please ensure collection is prompt so that staff can safely close the session.

Parent Presence on Site

Parents are welcome to wait on the premises - such as in the garden - however, due to limited space and safeguarding ratios, they won’t be able to attend the session itself unless this has been arranged in advance.
