Not Really Strangers is a musical comedic drama about grief in an age obsessed with efficiency. At a struggling New Jersey branch of fast-food chain MeatDay, owner Elliot grieves his brother’s death and grasps to keep the business afloat. This 10-minute excerpt explores what happens when the constant pursuit of efficiency isolates everyone.
