Shushan! The Musical
Shushan! The Musical
Need help?
A musical of Biblical proportions.
It's the Book of Esther like you've never seen it before, bringing to life the Bible's greatest Hebrew heroine with a dose of humor and heart. The ancient Persian city of Shushan comes alive in this new musical in development, with fifteen original songs, complete with its evergreen message of courage and unity. Inspired by the Broadway musicals of Stephen Schwartz, Andrew Lloyd Weber, and Menken & Ashman. So hop off your Persian rug and welcome yourselves to "SHUSHAN! the Musical"! A staged reading starring professional NYC actors and musicians. Talkback immediately following.

Spark Theatre Festival NYC - Fall 2024
March 4 - March 24, 2024
All performances take place at the 28th Street Theater (aka TADA!)
Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) returns with their one-of-a-kind Spark Theatre Festival NYC, allowing artists of different disciplines to present one performance of a polished "work-in-progress" with audience feedback. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters, by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights, by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, and new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
