Band Boy
In 1983, the dream of rock stardom still lives, and Effington Dupp wants to go for it. But his family wants him to stay in Ypsilanti and work in the local hat factory, like his Pop did. Will Eff get to live his dream? Of course not, but let's watch anyway.

Spark Theatre Festival NYC - Fall 2024
March 4 - March 24, 2024
All performances take place at the 28th Street Theater (aka TADA!)
Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) returns with their one-of-a-kind Spark Theatre Festival NYC, allowing artists of different disciplines to present one performance of a polished "work-in-progress" with audience feedback. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters, by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights, by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, and new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
