The Fool's Journey presents a dance piece in which physicality uses embodied history to share human experience. The relationship to internal desires and external expectations, energetic shifts, and self-discovery are important themes of the work that guide the structure throughout. Inspired by the Major Arcana in the Tarot deck, the imagery of this work aims to reflect the human life experience and evolution. We question the stories about ourselves that have been changed or muted by our experiences with others.

Spark Theatre Festival NYC - Fall 2024
March 4 - March 24, 2024

All performances take place at the 28th Street Theater (aka TADA!)

Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) returns with their one-of-a-kind Spark Theatre Festival NYC, allowing artists of different disciplines to present one performance of a polished "work-in-progress" with audience feedback. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters, by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights, by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, and new voices. That's never been more evident than now.

NO REFUNDS will be granted.
