Melting the Glass
Sun Sep 22, 2024 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM EDT

Description
"Melting the Glass" explores the awareness of being watched. As the dancers’ movements mirror, distort, and diverge from each other, they begin to sense one another's presence—similar yet unsettlingly different. This dance questions perception, presence, and the impact of being seen in a dynamic interaction of live movement and videography.

Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) returns with their one-of-a-kind Spark Theatre Festival NYC, allowing artists of different disciplines to present one performance of a polished "work-in-progress" with audience feedback. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters, by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights, by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, and new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
