An excerpt from a larger work, this section of "The Drift," is a movement exploration of how the collective WE find ourselves again after events seemingly shift our identities. Rocky relationships, parental responsibility, addiction, loneliness—how do we reestablish ourselves in the present while navigating the past and the future?

The 5pm performances include A Path to Travel, Neurochoreography on the Detection of Socio-Emotional Oscillations, Reborn Series, and The Drift. The order of the performances will be decided the evening of the performance, so please plan to attend for the entire time.

Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) returns with their one-of-a-kind Spark Theatre Festival NYC, allowing artists of different disciplines to present one performance of a polished "work-in-progress" with audience feedback. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters, by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights, by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, and new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
