The Shomer
In Judaism, a Shomer protects the recently deceased until burial, but when Susan dies at the supermarket, the baker responsible for her death must fill this role. Unfortunately, her soul’s not at rest and the unlikely Shomer spends the night with a room of ghosts and questions about his happiness.

Spark Theatre Festival NYC - Spring 2025
March 3-23, 2025
All performances take place at 312 W 36th St., 3rd floor, New York, NY 10018
Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) returns with their one-of-a-kind Spark Theatre Festival NYC, allowing artists of different disciplines to present one performance of a polished "work-in-progress" with audience feedback. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters, by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights, by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, talents, and voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
