Awarded a writing residence, Susan together with her partner Edgar travel to the Henning Mankell Residence in northern Sweden. Susan is desperate to write a piece about Mankell, who has recently died, something new and compelling. Instead, an unexpected tragedy reveals a hidden part of her own life with consequences.
