Adventure Class Greeting & Play Foundations
This small-group Adventure Class is designed for dog-friendly dogs and focuses on appropriate dog-to-dog greetings, healthy play introductions, and building strong social skills. We'll coach owners through reading canine body language, setting up structured greetings, interrupting interactions appropriately when needed, and helping dogs learn how to play without escalating. This class is not appropriate for dogs with aggression toward other dogs.
In addition to social skills, we'll work on confidence building, environmental exposure, leash handling, and other foundational training concepts that help dogs become well-rounded companions.
If this is your first group class, know that you are ready! Our trainers will be there to guide you every step of the way.
We recommend arriving about 10 minutes early so your dog has time to walk around, settle in, and get focused before class begins. Please bring your training collar, leash, and some high-value treats (or part of your dog's meal) for training rewards. Avoid feeding a full meal right before class.
At the start of class, please maintain at least 6 feet of space from other dogs and handlers unless instructed otherwise.
