Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow-FEES Practitioner Level 2

This course builds on our FEES Foundation training and moves you into building the skills required to be a competent FEES Practitioner. You will learn how to carry out a comprehensive FEES evaluation using the Langmore FEES protocol. We use case discussions illustrated with FEES images to build your image interpretation, encouraging you to develop a deeper understanding of anatomy and function as viewed endoscopically. You will view normal variations in anatomy as well as incidental findings and how to manage them. We encourage this to be an interactive session enabling you to work through use of rating scales, management planning and report writing. 

We will refer to elements of our SVS FEES DOPS document (direct observation of procedural skills), which will provide you with a framework for detailed feedback and a useful documentation for continuing your competency development in line with the RCSLT competency framework.
